WhatsApp messaging

Version 2026.10 · Updated October 14, 2026

This page explains how Escalide Sistemas' customer businesses use WhatsApp Business through the platform and which rules apply to the people who receive the messages.

1. Who sends messages

The sender is the business you have a relationship with (for example, the shop where you bought something). Escalide Sistemas provides the technology and has no number of its own to contact you. Each business uses its own number and its own WhatsApp Business account, and one business can never see another business's conversations.

2. What messages are sent

TypeExamples
UtilityOrder confirmation, pickup notice, payment or overdue-installment reminder.
AuthenticationAn activation or confirmation code sent for you to enter at the business.
ReplyThe business's answer to a message you sent first.

The platform does not send advertising on its own. Marketing messages go out only when the business holds your specific consent and uses a template approved by Meta as Marketing.

3. Consent (opt-in)

A business may message you only if you agreed to receive WhatsApp messages, for example by ticking the option at sign-up or checkout. The platform records where that consent comes from (who confirmed, how the customer agreed, on what date and with what evidence) so the business can prove it.

Consent is kept separately by message type: updates and support (invoices, confirmations, codes, replies) and promotions. Someone who agreed only to updates does not receive offers. If you wrote to the business, it may respond to your request within 24 hours of your last message. This does not authorize future proactive messages or promotions. Outside that window, we require an approved template and recorded consent.

4. How to stop receiving

Reply STOP (or PARAR, SAIR) to any message. The platform records your request immediately and blocks further message templates to your number. To receive messages again, write START.

You can also use WhatsApp's own button to stop promotions (the platform stops sending promotions immediately but keeps sending the updates you asked for), block or report the number, or ask the business by phone, in store or by email to remove your contact. The business records the request and honors it immediately. A business that ignores these requests violates these terms and Meta's, and may have its connection suspended.

5. 24-hour window and templates

After you write, the business may reply freely for 24 hours. After that it can reach you only with a message template previously approved by Meta, with a defined content and category. The platform prevents free-text messages outside the window.

6. Quality and limits

Meta rates each number from recipients' reactions and limits sending volume accordingly. The platform shows the business the quality rating and limit and tracks each message's delivery state (sent, delivered, read or failed).

7. How data is handled

Your number, profile name and message text are used only so the business can talk to you. The raw content received is encrypted and discarded after 30 days; the STOP request and the consent proof are kept so the request is honored and provable. Nothing is sold or used for advertising. See the Privacy Policy and how to request deletion of your data.

8. Contact
